Greetings,

I was just curious if anyone had ever played any of the other scenarios
that can be run in Wizardry - Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord. The
ones I'm talking about are: Blackstone, Atomic Wasteland 2098, Weeping
Snows and Dragonquest (the last one is based on the SSI role playing
game Dragonquest).

I downloaded all four of them and now that I've got Wizardry running
right on the IIe I'm thinking about playing them, but was curious if
anyone else had already.

Thanks,
Dean

other titles. Tell me more!

Greetings,

All of the mentioned scenarios are fan created. Three of them,
Blackstone, Dragonquest and (full title) The Garden of the Weeping
Snows can be found on this website:
http://www.iosphere.net/~eric/wizardry/ which is a Wizardry fan page.
Atomic Wasteland 2098 isin the first unsorted folder at Asimov. If
you'd like I can e-mail you copies of all of them. I know from reading
the read me files that at least Blackstone and Atomic Wasteland 2098
were created using Wizard's Workbench, a scenario editor for Wizardry
1.

I'm curious, too, especially about Atomic Wasteland 2098. How do you
get the new scenarios to run? Where can I find a copy of Wizard's
Workbench?

Ralph,

You have to boot the Wizardry boot disk, then select press any key at
the title page. When it brings up the copyright press S to start. It
will the ask for the Master Scenario disk, put any of the other
scenarios in there except Atomic Wasteland (that one seems to prefer
having any other scenario run first). When it asks for Scenario
Master/duplicate put in Atomic Wasteland or leave in the other scenario
you want to run and paly away.

I can e-mail you all the scenarios and Wizard's Workbench if you like.
Just let me know.
